This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to:

• Waitlist site at www.perspection.app (Framer) — where we collect your email via Loops.

• Quiz site at quiz.perspection.app (ScoreApp) — where we collect first name, last name, email, and your quiz answers.

We built this page to meet core requirements of Korea’s PIPA, EU/UK GDPR, and major state privacy laws. It is not legal advice.

1) Information we collect

A. You give us directly

• Email address (waitlist via Loops).

• First name, last name, email, and quiz answers (ScoreApp lead form and questions).

• Optional: content of emails or messages you send to us.

B. Collected automatically (limited)

• Basic device and usage data in server logs (e.g., IP address, user agent) for security/anti-abuse and to run our sites.

• Cookies and similar tech:

  • Essential cookies that keep the quiz working (session and security).

  • Non-essential cookies (only with consent), e.g., for analytics/attribution or “returning visitor” linking in ScoreApp.

We currently use Framer Analytics, which does not set cookies or persistent identifiers; if we add other analytics/ads later, we’ll ask for consent first.

C. Sensitive data

We do not intend to collect sensitive categories (e.g., health, finance, precise location, resident ID numbers). Please don’t submit sensitive data in quiz free-text fields.

2) Why we use your information (purposes & legal bases)

• Waitlist & product updates (email you when your invite is ready; product news). Legal basis: your consent (you can withdraw anytime).

• Lead qualification & product development (using quiz answers to understand needs and improve Perspection). Legal basis: consent and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services.

• Security, fraud prevention, and site reliability (including basic logs). Legal basis: legitimate interests / legal obligation.

• Compliance (record-keeping for consent and legal requests). Legal basis: legal obligation.

We may aggregate or de-identify data for metrics and research.

3) Who processes your data (service providers)

We use vetted processors under data-processing terms:

We do not sell personal information. If the business structure changes (e.g., M&A), your data may transfer under this Policy’s protections.

4) Cookies & consent

We run a consent banner (CMP) where required.

• Essential cookies (e.g., ScoreApp’s scoreapp_session, XSRF-TOKEN) always run because the quiz depends on them.

• Non-essential cookies (e.g., ScoreApp’s _score for returning-visitor linking, advertising or analytics tags) load only after consent. If users refuse, some attribution/“returning visitor” features won’t work.

You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the banner link (footer). Browser controls can also block cookies.

5) International data transfers (including from Korea)

We may transfer and store data in countries outside Korea (and outside your home country) when using Loops/ScoreApp/Framer. When we do, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses / UK IDTA, and contractual commitments with processors). For Korea (PIPA), where consent is relied upon, we will inform you of: the data items, recipient, country, purpose, retention period, contact information, and how to refuse; and we’ll obtain separate consent if required.

6) How long we keep your data

• Waitlist emails (Loops): up to 24 months after last interaction or until you unsubscribe / ask us to delete—whichever comes first.

• Quiz data (ScoreApp): up to 24 months after collection or earlier if you request deletion.

• Security/operational logs: typically ≤ 90 days unless a longer period is needed for investigations.
  We may keep minimal records to demonstrate compliance (e.g., consent logs).

7) Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., Korea, EU/UK, certain U.S. states), you can:

• Access the data we hold about you

• Correct inaccurate data

• Delete your data

• Withdraw consent (e.g., unsubscribe)

• Object to or restrict processing in some cases

• Data portability (structured copy)

• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (e.g., PIPC in Korea, your EU/UK DPA)

How to exercise: email info@perspection.app from the address you used, tell us which right you want to exercise, and we’ll respond without undue delay (generally within 30 days).

8) Marketing emails

If you join the waitlist or check an opt-in box, we’ll send product updates. You can unsubscribe any time via the link in every email, or by contacting us.

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, and vendor reviews). No method is 100% secure; please use unique, strong passwords for any services you connect.

10) Children

Perspection is for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (Korea) or under the age applicable in your region. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

11) Changes to this Policy

We’ll update this page when we make material changes and, where appropriate, notify you (e.g., email or site banner). The “Effective date” shows when it last changed.
