Unique Mind Global PTE. LTD. ("Perspection," "we," "us," or "our") provides customer data infrastructure and website audit services at perspection.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information (When You're Our Customer)
When you sign up for Perspection:
Email address and name
Company name and website
Billing information (processed by Stripe)
Authentication data (managed by Clerk)
1.2 Event Data (From Your End Users)
When you use our SDK to track events:
Page views, clicks, and custom events
Device information (browser type, screen size, operating system)
Location data (IP address, country, region)
Email addresses and phone numbers (hashed with SHA-256)
Custom properties you choose to send
1.3 Scan Data (When You Use Our Scanning Service)
When you submit a URL for scanning, Perspection's crawler visits the submitted page(s) using a headless browser. We intercept and analyze:
Network requests made by the page
Cookies set during page load
JavaScript variables (including
window.dataLayer)HTML source content
DNS records
We do this solely to generate your audit report.
What we store from scans:
The submitted URL
The scan timestamp
The structured scan result (scores, detected technologies, check findings)
What we do NOT store:
Raw network request payloads
Full HAR files
Page screenshots beyond the scan session
Any personal data belonging to the scanned website's end users
PII detected during scans: If our scanner detects personally identifiable information in a website's tracking requests (e.g., email addresses in URL parameters), we flag this as a finding but do not store the PII itself. We store only the flag and the parameter name where it was found.
1.4 Email Addresses (Scan Service)
Stage 1 (free scan) collects an email address to send scan results. This email is used only to deliver results and, with your consent, to send product updates. It is not shared with third parties.

Log data (API requests, errors, performance metrics)

3. How We Share Your Information
3.1 Third-Party Destinations You Configure
We send event data to destinations you explicitly configure:
Google Analytics 4
Meta Conversions API
TikTok Events API
Google Ads
Other advertising and analytics platforms
Important: Once data is sent to these platforms, their privacy policies apply.
3.2 Service Providers
We share data with vendors who help us operate:
Google Cloud Platform (hosting, infrastructure, and scan compute via Cloud Run)
Stripe (payment processing)
Clerk (authentication)
Cloudflare (edge security, CDN, rate limiting, and bot protection)
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law or to:
Comply with legal obligations
Protect our rights and safety
Prevent fraud or abuse
Respond to government requests
3.4 Business Transfers
If Perspection is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
4. Data Security
We protect your data using:
Encryption: AES-256 for data at rest, TLS 1.3 for data in transit
Hashing: SHA-256 for personally identifiable information
Access controls: Role-based permissions and multi-tenant isolation
Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform with SOC 2 Type III certified hosting
Monitoring: 24/7 security monitoring and logging
Note: We are working toward SOC 2 Type II certification (planned for 2026) and ISO 27001 certification (planned for 2027).
5. Data Retention
5.1 Account Data
We retain your account information as long as you have an active account, plus 30 days after account closure for compliance purposes.
5.2 Event Data
Event data is stored for 90 days, then automatically deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting info@perspection.app.
5.3 Scan Data
Authenticated users: Scan results are retained for 90 days to allow report re-access, then automatically purged.
Unauthenticated free scans (Stage 1): Scan results are retained for 30 days, then automatically purged.

5.4 Backup Data
Automated backups are retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
6. Data Location
Your data is stored in one of two regions:
European Union: europe-west1 (Belgium)
Asia Pacific: asia-southeast1 (Singapore)
You select your region during signup. Data stays in your chosen region and is not transferred elsewhere.
Note: United States (us-central1, Iowa) will be added as an additional region option in the future.
7. Your Privacy Rights
7.1 Access and Portability
Request a copy of your data in JSON or CSV format through your dashboard or by emailing info@perspection.app.
7.2 Correction
Update your account information in your dashboard settings.
7.3 Deletion
Delete your account and all associated data (including scan history) through dashboard settings or by emailing info@perspection.app. We'll complete deletion within 30 days. You may also request deletion of your scan history and email address independently without closing your account.
7.4 Opt-Out
Marketing emails: Unsubscribe via the link in any email
Event tracking: Use our SDK's opt-out function or respect browser Do Not Track signals
7.5 Regional Rights
GDPR (EU/UK): Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection
PDPA (Singapore): Right to access, correction, and withdrawal of consent
8. Cookies and Tracking
Our SDK may set cookies on your domain to identify returning visitors and track sessions. When consent is denied, we suppress data fields accordingly.
We support Consent Mode v2 for Google services and TCF 2.2 (Transparency and Consent Framework).
9. Children's Privacy
Perspection is not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we've collected child data, contact us at info@perspection.app and we'll delete it immediately.
10. International Transfers
If you're in the EU and choose the Asia Pacific region, your data will be transferred outside the EU. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to protect your data.
11. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
12. Data Processing Roles
12.1 When We're a Controller
For your account data (email, company name, billing), we're the data controller. We decide how this data is processed.
12.2 When We're a Processor
For event data from your end users, you're the controller and we're the processor. You decide what data to collect and how to use it. We just process it according to your instructions.
This means:
You're responsible for obtaining consent from your end users
You're responsible for providing privacy notices to your end users
We're responsible for processing data securely according to your configuration
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do:
We'll post the new version at perspection.app/legal/privacy
We'll update the "Last Updated" date
For material changes, we'll email you 30 days in advance
Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
